2026 Montana Co-op Academy

October 19–21, 2026 | Bozeman, Montana

2026 Montana Co-op Academy is a training and connection event for cooperative leaders, rising leaders, outreach staff, community partners, and cooperative development supporters.

Hosted by the Montana Council of Cooperatives, along with Montana's Credit Unions, the Academy is designed to strengthen the people helping carry Montana’s cooperative future forward. The event will include two tracks:

Cooperative Leadership Track
For leaders and rising leaders inside existing co-ops, including managers, department heads, directors, senior staff, and others preparing for greater responsibility. This track will focus on cooperative leadership, culture, communication, member engagement, succession, and leading inside a member-owned business.

Cooperative Development & Community Engagement Track
For outreach staff, community partners, Extension, economic development professionals, and others interested in supporting cooperative development work. This track will focus on the cooperative model, community engagement, shared needs, development basics, facilitation, and how communities can explore cooperative solutions.

The Academy begins the afternoon of Monday, October 19, continues with a full training day Tuesday, October 20, and closes the morning of Wednesday, October 21.
