How to Use Voting Issues to Track Positions

Track ballot measures, initiatives, and policy positions that voters care about.

Accessing Voting Issues

Navigate to: Political > Voting Issues

Creating a Voting Issue

  1. Click Add New
  2. Enter issue details:
    • Issue Name: Clear description (e.g., Prop 123 - Education Funding)
    • Issue Type: Ballot measure, policy position, etc.
    • Description: What the issue is about
    • Election: Which election it appears on
  3. Add your organization position (if applicable)
  4. Save

Tracking Voter Positions

Once issues are created:

  1. Open a voter record
  2. Go to Voter Support
  3. Record their position on each issue

Using Issue Data

  • Voter ID: Find supporters for specific issues
  • Targeting: Focus outreach on issue-specific audiences
  • Analysis: Understand which issues drive engagement

Issue-Based Lists

Create mailing lists based on issue positions for targeted communications.
