How to Track Recognition Awards and Honors
Recognition Awards in Argenta allow you to track awards, honors, and recognitions given to constituents. Document volunteer service awards, donor recognitions, and other honors.
What Recognition Awards Track
- Volunteer service awards (hours milestones)
- Donor recognition levels
- Employee of the month/year
- Years of service awards
- Community honors received
- Certifications earned
Accessing Recognition Awards
From a person's record:
- Open the constituent record
- Look for the Recognition or Awards tab
- View all awards for that person
Adding a Recognition Award
- Navigate to the Recognition tab on the person's record
- Click Add New
- Select the Award Type
- Enter the Award Date
- Add a description or citation
- Note who presented the award
- Attach photos or certificates if desired
- Save the award
Types of Recognition
- Volunteer Service: 100 hours, 500 hours, 1000 hours
- Donor Levels: Silver, Gold, Platinum recognition
- Years of Service: 5 years, 10 years, 25 years
- Special Achievement: Outstanding performance awards
- External Honors: Community or industry recognitions

- Go to Classification Codes
- Find Recognition Types or Award Types
- Add, edit, or organize your recognition categories
Automatic Recognition
Some recognitions can be triggered automatically based on:
- Volunteer hours reaching a milestone
- Donation levels reaching recognition thresholds
- Membership tenure
Using Recognition Data
- Generate lists of people due for recognition
- Plan recognition events and ceremonies
- Track historical awards for each person
- Include in donor/volunteer profiles

- Define clear criteria for each award level
- Document all recognitions promptly
- Use recognition to encourage continued engagement
- Share recognition publicly when appropriate
